Steven C. Leuthold Family Foundation Grant Eligibility
All grant applicants must meet the following criteria and submit the requested information in order to be considered for a grant from the Steven C. Leuthold Family Foundation.
If your organization does not meet these requirements, please do not submit a grant application.
Your organization must be a 501(C)3 non-profit as determined by the IRS.
You must submit your latest IRS letter stating your 501(c)3 status. We may request to see your organization’s tax return for the last 2 years.
Partially completed grant applications will not be accepted.
Grant applications must be submitted on or before July 31, 2024. If awarded, grants will be distributed by December 2024 or sooner.
We do not give grants to the following:
Religious institutions for general operating expenses. We recognize these institutions are an important part of people’s lives, however we feel the operating expenses are the responsibility of the members of the institution.
Fine arts such as museums, theaters, symphonies etc. The Arts are an important part of society and worthy of support but in general, we feel the fine arts are already well funded.
Competitive sports teams. However, we do provide grants to organizations that promote sports related activities for persons with disabilities.
Grants to colleges and universities for capital improvement projects.
